Nordic Newsletter- Mid January

Happy New Year from the Bolton Nordic Center.  We have had a fantastic season thus far and we have to keep reminding ourselves that we are only a month into the ski season. 

The Banff Mtn Film Fest is coming up on January 29 and 30 in Burlington, and we are one of the sponsors.  The Ski Rack website has more info and tickets.

Conditions

Cabin Rentals- Dates are filling up fast, so get your reservation in soon. Bryant Cabin is available for rental by the night.  This primitive lodge has a wood stove and can sleep 4-6 people.  It’s a great way to spend a winter night in the backcountry.  For info and reservations Email nordiccenter@boltonvalley.com or call 434-6876.

Nordic Kids Program

Are your kids looking for something different to do this winter?  We are happy to announce that Nordic Kids is back for a second season.  Spend Sunday's learning the basics of Nordic skiing.  Each day includes games, relay races, scavenger hunts and natural history.

Attention: Nordic Season Pass Holders

We are once again part of the Season’s Pass Reciprocal Program among Vermont Nordic Centers.  We hope that all pass holders have an opportunity to try out other Nordic Centers this winter.  As a Bolton Nordic Season’s Pass holder you are eligible to ski one [1] day at each participating Nordic Ski Area in Vermont.  Bring your Bolton Season’s Pass with you and identify yourself as a Bolton Season’s Pass Holder interested in using your one free day. Stop by the Nordic Center for a full list of participating ski areas.

Nordic Season Pass holders also receive discounts here at our home mountain.  Bolton Valley offers 20% off of regular prices at our retail shop, Bailey's Restaurant, lessons, rental gear, and lodging. This benefit will continue all season long, and you're welcome to use it as often as you'd like. more info

Photo Exhibit in the Nordic Center

We are happy to announce that long time friend of Bolton Nordic, Jerry Lasky, has photos on display through January.  Topics include ski scenes, fall foliage and landscapes from around the world. His next exhibit after Bolton will be this February, at the “On the Rise” Bakery in Richmond, Vermont. more info
